The reason the system will not allow you to change Van cleave to Van
Cleave has to do with the face that most text-based software ignores
case - it is not case sensitive for lookups.  Therefore, it thinks you
want to change the name to exactly the same thing and it ignores you.
What you need to do in those cases is to make two passes - first change
it to Van Leave, for example, then go back and change it to Van Cleave.
I've experienced that same type of problem in many computer software
programs - Quicken, even Microsoft Word, etc., unless it also has a
"case sensitive" option which you can turn on.    --Jerry in Michigan
