Jenny, Thanks for reminding me that the options to "Display Married Names" and "Display Alternate Names" affected it. I rechecked and found the bug still exists. However it only mis-behaves (for me) when one is checked and the other is unchecked. Since I normally want both checked anyway it isn't a big problem. Also it only affects about 10% of my Individuals and only when cursor is on Given or Surname.
