Susan, you might have received a message because Ron sent you a cc: of his response. If you only received the one response, then the indication is that you are NOT yet subscribed to the list.
Many of us have had problems subscribing or re-subscribing to the list for some strange reason. When we get the welcoming message from Legacy and click on the hyper-link to complete our subscription, it does not work. Therefore, what I had to do was to copy and paste the entire hyper-link URL address that I got in the welcoming email and post it into my Internet browser. I think the problem might be that sometimes (because the URL is so long), some pointers are only picking up part of the address. Make sure your pointer picks up the entire address, or else copy and paste the entire address it to your browser and it should work for you. Let us know how it goes if that works for you. --Jerry in Michigan On 01/20/2011 12:27 PM, Ron Ferguson wrote: > Guess you made it, Susan!! > Ron Ferguson > http://www.fergys.co.uk/ > *From:* Susan Swindell <mailto:[email protected]> > *Sent:* Thursday, January 20, 2011 4:39 PM > *To:* [email protected] > <mailto:[email protected]> > *Subject:* [LegacyUG] just a test > I have been trying to subscribe to this group and the only thing that I > have received is the confirmation email. > > Thanks for your patience. > > -- > Susan > [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> > > > > > Legacy User Group guidelines: > http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp > Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: > http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ > Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: > http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ > Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp > To unsubscribe: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/LegacyLists.asp > <http://www.legacyfamilytree.com/LegacyLists.asp> -- Regards, Jerry in Michigan Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp To unsubscribe: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/LegacyLists.asp
