Charles, My preference is to enter the MRINs and RINs into the User ID fields on the Individual Information and Marriage Information windows.
In Options > Customize > Other, you can automatically move those numbers to the User ID fields. That way if you ever need to renumber RINs/MRINs (there is one error message that pops up occasionally which requires this) or merge individuals, then you won't lose the original number you have worked so hard to file with!
