I've been sitting here for a couple of hours using it. You have to choose the area of the world and the categories you want to search. I am just trying to find a great grandfather Adolf Cramer who was born in Prussia about 1836 - our brick wall...So I have been searching on Surname only, looking at variations on Cramer, and now I have just told it to look for "Johan Henrick Adolf Cramer" Prussia in 1836 + or - 2 years, and I am copying data for any name that comes up that looks possible and includes the word "Adolf".
But I really don't consider myself to understand the current system.
