I've been sitting here for a couple of hours using it.  You have to
choose the area of the world and the categories you want to search.  I
am just trying to find a great grandfather Adolf Cramer who was born in
Prussia about 1836 - our brick wall...So I have been searching on
Surname only, looking at variations on Cramer, and now I have just told
it to look for "Johan Henrick Adolf Cramer" Prussia in 1836 + or - 2
years,  and I am copying data for any name that comes up that looks
possible and includes the word "Adolf".

But I really don't consider myself to understand the current system.
