Jerry,

Sherry does not work at weekends, although she sometimes drops in. In any
event Legacy is well aware of the problem of the space in the URL as it has
been happening, not with everyone, ever since they changed to the current
server. We have been advised by them that the cause is not known, and the
inconsistency in its appearance does not help in tracing it either. It is
even more puzzling because the break occurs in the same place in the URL
each time, and is not related to it breaking for a new line.

Sorry, Ron, I didn't mean any disrespect to you. You are very
knowledgeable on this list and I've seen a lot of your posts.

But I have proven what happens because I just posted the "experimental"
message by using an email address that gave me the "404" not found
message when I clicked on the hyper-link. I was able to post to the
list and the list got my post, but I DID NOT receive my post back. I
think that proves that these people are posting to the list, but it is a
one-way thing - they are not receiving their posts back, nor are they
receiving anyone else's posts.

So, I'll contact Sherry (unless she is listening in here and responds)
and ask her to please correct that extra space problem in the welcoming
mails that you pointed out.

Thanks again, --Jerry
