When I've upgraded, I've actually gone to the website and downloaded the full setup file - all 53Mb of it! Once done, I've run it and during the upgrade it asked me if I wanted to install the DB. I've not had the courage to say no and so haven't found out if saying so wiped out an already installed DB. Does the web-based upgrade ask the question? Perhaps saying no, kills the previously-installed DB. -- Regards, Mike Fry Johannesburg Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp To unsubscribe: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/LegacyLists.asp
