Not exactly related to Legacy but, in most cases, just as important and
often overlooked.

Subject: [LegacyUG] Backups

Backups are being discussed as a side issue in anther thread so I thought I
would open a thread and point out a couple of other considerations for
backing
up. Of course, your data and multimedia are the most important items to
keep
current on your backup media, but there other things one might like to
backup.
If you ever need to uninstall and reinstall you will lose your customization
files (.usr). I keep a copy of all .usr files on my backup drive. Also if
you
have saved searches, they are saved as .sc0 files and you would lose them.

If you have developed Internet searches and organized them into pages of
internet searches you will have some .lis and .cis files that would be lost.

The .usr, .sc0 and .cis files are found in the c:/Legacy folder. The .lis
files
are found in the c:/Legacy/iSearch folder.

There may be more that I am not aware of. If anyone knows of others I would
appreciate it if you would point them out.
