As someone else has pointed out, it's a very good idea to fill in the Tag Descriptions found under Advanced Tagging unless you are pretty darned sure you are going to remember why you tagged people! You need to be in the same screen to UNtag someone. Assuming you want to untag *everyone* who is using, for example, Tag 4, select Untag and select 4 for "Make changes on tag" and then click "Everyone." If you only want to untag certain people who have a particular tag and not others you'll need to search for all the people with that tag enabled and untag as required individually, either from the Individual's Information screen or from the Name List. In the former case, click on the highlighted tag number; in the latter case make sure you have selected to show the relevant tag number(s) (Click "Tags to show" on the Advanced Tagging screen) and click on the appropriate X to remove it. -- Jenny M Benson Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp To unsubscribe: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/LegacyLists.asp
