It might have been World Vital Records but I doubt it was actually Legacy;
what would they sell? World Vital Records has a special offer available to
users of Legacy Family Tree and they have been calling to make sure everyone
is aware of it. I did have a hard time getting the salesperson to accept
that I really, truly did not want to take them up on the offer. I've
checked it out many times over the years, wondering if it had become
something valuable to my particular research but so far it hasn't. It's a
valuable service but not to me. It's like selling access to Swedish records
when you don't have any Swedish ancestors. She was very pleasant and
finally did give up on convincing me but she tried very hard to try to see
if she could find anything that would be useful to my research.

Besides that, there are plenty of people out there using all sorts of
avenues to get our contact information to try to sell us something and they
will use anything they can to make us think they are legit.

I suppose you could block that number? Good luck! Kathy
