But it ought to be possible to do in Legacy The easiest way I have found to do this is to use "Save as..." to make a copy of your file. Then, in this new copy, unlink the branch you are interested in from the other relatives (might be as easy as unlinking a spouse). What you do from here on depends on what you are trying to accomplish. For example, if you want to export a GEDCOM of this unlinked branch, then all you need to do is use Advanced Tagging to tag everyone in that branch and then export that Tag #.
