Marion, I should not make any difference which way you do it, provided that you follow the Legacy instructions for the installation on WIN7. Personally I would download and install the current version of Legacy 7.5, and then copy the files across.

I am about to transfer everything on the tree to a new computer - using Windows 7 x64bit. At the same time I think it is now time I moved up to Legacy 7.5 version. My questions are: 1) Should I download Legacy 7.5 directly on to the new computer and then copy all of my files across from the old computer or 2) Should I download the Legacy 7 version on to the new computer, copy all of the files across and then upgrade to Legacy 7.5 All of my pictures and files will be in the same directories (as long as I can work out how Windows 7 works!) so am I looking for some guidance as to which would be the best way to go about things and which order they should be done in and what problems I may face. If anyone can be of assistance I would be grateful.
