Have you switched the double-date handling on? Go to Customise--> Dates and make sure that option to use double-dating has been selected in the section labelled Double Date Cutoff. Also, depending on when the switchover from Julian to Gregorian calendar in your neck of the woods (assume 1752 because of ancestry), you may need to adjust the cutoff year. When entering a date, you only need to specify the OS year. Legacy will add the rest of it. Other things to be aware of: a) Double-dating should really only be used for the Months Jan, Feb and Mar in the years up to and including 1751. b) In the UK, the switchover happened in Sept 1752 and dates of 3rd - 13th Sep are not valid! -- Regards, Mike Fry Johannesburg Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp To unsubscribe: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/LegacyLists.asp
