Hi = probably the only problem you might experience is the machine running slow, especially when doing searches of the database. FWIW, additional ram is really cheap, and in most cases the owner can install the additional ram. I have an Aspire One and installed another 1Gb with no problems, and I'm sure a dealer would do it for a small charge. It would make your browsing experience much better. HTH
