Ok - I just tested it and yup, it's showing the data within the brackets. I also tested it with a location and location within the brackets was suppressed.
Another strange thing I noticed - if I put the full date in the brackets, then it shows up in the chart as 20 Apr 2011 BC !! I'll pass this over to the programmers Sincerely, Sherry Technical Support Legacy Family Tree On Wed, Apr 20, 2011 at 9:20 AM, Laird <[email protected]> wrote: > Sherry, > Yes, I selected "Suppress private information [[Private]]". > The "Suppress details for living people" works as expected. > Laird > > On 4/20/2011 11:01 AM, Sherry/Support wrote: >> Laird, >> >> In Legacy Charting, did you click on the Privacy Options button to >> select the option to Suppress Private Information? >> >> >> Sincerely, >> Sherry >> Technical Support >> Legacy Family Tree >> >> >> >> On Wed, Apr 20, 2011 at 8:29 AM, Laird<[email protected]> wrote: >>> Hi, >>> In my Legacy (ver*. *7.5.0.67) database I have a birth date entered using >>> privacy brackets as [[5 April]] 2011.
