Mark, I should have said thank you so much for going to this much effort for me. For printing purposes this exactly what I want to see. There will be a few I need to print in this method but if the direct descendant is male I will revert to the standard format. It will be worth it for me. This is how I want to see it when I flick through the printed pages - the direct descendant in the top placement. Again many thanks Olwyn
