AG = Accredited Genealogist. To get the AG title, you must submit a comprehensive application outlining 1000 hours of research, submit a 4 generation pedigree with your anchor person being born before 1900 complete with sourced family group sheets, research calendars and a written report, you take an 8 hour written test, and you have an oral interview/defense of your research report.
