Kathy,

A parent's spouse icon should have a number on it equal to the number of
spouse, rotate through the spouses of that parent and the MRIN box with give
you the MRIN for each marriage. Go to View>Marriage List enter MRINs in the
MRIN box and each marriage will be displayed in turn. Then take the
action(s) I described in my first answer as appropriate.

Subject: RE: [LegacyUG] Eliminating duplicate ancestors in charts

Here's where I really display my ignorance :-)

What should I look for in the MRIN box to tell me somebody has two spouses?

Actually, having entered a bit more info and run the resulting charts, I
think a lot of the problem is coming from intergenerational marrying of
cousins and so on. Maybe the dupes are the only way Legacy can cope with
such charting as of now. I think I saw a thread in the archives about this,
and I'll go check it again.

Thanks!

Kathy

......

Look at the very bottom of the Window - below the List of Children! 3 RINs
and a
date!
