Wendy, I haven't seen the webinar, but do note that there are specific Source Writer templates for the constituent countries of the UK., and also for Ireland.

What is sourcewriter? It is the source recording method found in later versions of Legacy. If I recall correctly (which is not a given) it was introduced in version 7. Look it up in the Help files to find out more. > b. Is the 'add death certificate' webinar worth watching if you want to > add a UK death certificate rather than a US one? I haven't watched it all the way through yet, but from what I've seen the webinar is relevant to any document you want to use to add data to your Legacy database. Just don't get hung up on the fact that it's an American document he's using, focus on how he picks up individual items of data, and treats the document as a whole. Hope this helps. :-) Kind Regards, Wendy Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp Follow Legacy on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/LegacyFamilyTree) and on our blog (http://news.LegacyFamilyTree.com).
