These spam emails are usually because an address book has been hijacked, and 
not necessarily that of the person from whom the spam purports to come. So 
“taking them out of the Legacy User Group universe” will not necessarily make 
any difference.

Hadn't quite finished my first cup of coffee and absent-mindedly clicked the 
link to the spam sent by Linda Hawkins (she's on Facebook). What motivates 
these people and can they be successfully transferred out of the Legacy User 
Group universe?
