Hi Michele, I don't think you understood what Ron was saying.
Are you working with the split screen, with two files open at the same time? If that is the case, then you need to make sure that you are focused on the right file before opening the Advanced Tagging window. You have three "blue bars" when there are two files open in the split screen - the one across the entire window for the whole Legacy window, one each for the two files you have open in the split screen. To focus on the right file, click on the blue bar at the top of that file's window - see how one is darker than the other? Now open the Advanced Tagging window and you will see the tagging options for that file. I've checked this with my own files just now, both using the split screen and without it. Each time, the file that was open/in focus was the one who's tagging options were shown. If my assumption about you using the split screen is wrong, and you've got only one file open and seeing another file's tagging options, try shutting down Legacy, and even rebooting the computer, to see if that fixes things. If it doesn't, you should contact Legacy Support for assistance. Hope this helps. :-) Wendy -----Original Message----- *Subject:* Re: [LegacyUG] Tags question *Sent:* Sun, 29 May 2011 19:24:32 -0400 *From:* [email protected] *To:* [email protected] > Go to EDIT then TAG RECORDS > On this screen is where you write in descriptions of what you have > tagged so that you don’t forget.
