The first thing you should do when you're wondering this question, is go to the archives and look at the most recent posts. Did you receive them? If you did, then you should have confidence that you haven't missed anything and the list is just quiet at the moment. If you didn't, then perhaps something got in the way and you need to investigate that - start at your end with spam folders, filters, etc.
Posting "is the list working" to the list should be a last resort, after you've attempted to contact the list administrator (who is [email protected] for this list) offlist, or maybe a fellow list reader who you're in contact with.
