Hi Judy,

The topic of double dating is covered in Mastering Legacy: Names, Dates &
Places.

Geoff's suggestion was not to select double dating preference when you select
options>customize.

You entered your date as 3 Jan 1721/1722, instead enter 3 Jan 1721/22.   That
should do it.

Margaret

I have a problem. As double dating (Gregorian calendar) started in Scotland in
1600 and in England and Ireland in 1752, I cannot set up my programme because I
can only use one starting date (in Customise). If I set the starting date to
1752, my early Scottish records are incorrect, if I set it at 1600 my early
English records are incorrect. If I turn double dating off and try to manually
enter a date such as 3 Jan 1721/1722 in my English records, it is just recorded
as 3 Jan 1722. Do I just turn double dating off and make a note in the source
as the correct recorded date?
Judy
