For narrative types of reports, I prefer a serif font like Times New
Roman or some other book font. With Times New Roman, I like to use
11- or 12-pt font for readability, and never smaller than 10-pt. All
of those books in print have used a serif font for ages because it
makes large blocks of text readable.

The only form-based report I use is the Individual Report. For that I
use a mix of fonts. For the data fields, I prefer to use a sans-sarif
font like Arial or Helvetica or one of those. In the notes section, I
use a script-like font which to me is evocative of hand-written notes.
I use the IR for my own purposes, rather than as a means of sharing
information. When I get to a point with an individual where I'm going
to temporarily suspend research and analysis, I clean everything up
and print an IR for my notebook.
