The BCG does not require submission of a Research Log as part of the certification portfolio. Perhaps you are thinking of accreditation through ICAPGen.
Although it won't look like a traditional research log, I concur with Sherri that the To-Do feature is perfect for the purpose of a research log (and more). There are myriad ways to format the reports to make it less "big and clunky."
