Hello everyone. I'm trying to tweak the settings in comparing duplicates from two Legacy files I put together on purpose. I already went through hundreds of them and joined duplicates together successfully to the completion of several merges with various settings, but now I want to go through the settings again and make sure I did not miss some. But I want to use an EXACT SPELLING routine on the given names and the parents' names. Can't I do that? It seems that the selections are not quite as user-selectable as I would like to see them. For example, I don't want the computer to suggest that C ALLEN and Charles ALLEN might be the same person, but I can't get it to work that way. Thanks, if someone has some ideas I'm overlooking. --Jerry / http://www.MerriamFamilyTree.org/
