If you look in the archives, there are several discussions over the years about how BBD and M are handled differently than the user selected events. Some of us add those as user events and do not use the 'standard' ones. This has more to do with how and where the events, and their notes, appear in the family group sheet and other reports. They are not treated the same.... Or look closely at the chronology report.....it does a better job of placing them.
