First of all, it's NEVER a bother! I really appreciate you trying this out.
I knew that the install issues would be a problem so I have simplified the
process. I'm writing this back to the list so everyone can benefit.
- If you have Microsoft Access,
- download the file:
http://electricfoster.info/SourceDocs/LocationTamer/LocationTamer.exe
- Run the file, allow it to extract to c:\LocationTamer
- If you do not have Microsoft Access:
- Download
http://electricfoster.info/SourceDocs/LocationTamer/LocationTamer.msi
- You will only have to do the following once:
- Go to http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=4438
- Download the runtime file
- Install the runtime application
- Run the LocationTamer,msi
- Copy the Legacy fdb files you wish to work with to the c:\LocationTamer
Folder
- Run either the LocationTammer.mdb or LocationTamer, accdr depending on
the version installed
That's it. The program will enumerate all of the fdb files and you can
choose the one you wish to edit.
Thanks again for taking a look! Tell me if tere is something you would like
to see.
