I think once they fix the "-" bug, you might be able to see pictures in the list without either "+" or "-" that reside in your Legacy folder(s) meaning they are not linked to an individual. (I don't think you meant pictures that reside anywhere on your computer, did you?)
However, in the Picture Center with the "+" and "-", I don't think you will find any clue as to which images (that appear to be unlinked to an individual) are linked to master sources...? I can't really test that because of the bug. Re-reading this...
