Thank you *RUSS* for your instruction "select just the drive C:\" ............. that's what I was doing wrong. Not so obvious. I had first selected C:\Legacy\Pictures knowing the files were all in that folder; then selected C:\Legacy ...........should've just tried one more level up! Thanks again. --Paula in Texas

If you already installed Legacy in the default path which is usually C:\Legacy and all of your pictures are in the C:\Legacy\Picture folder then when you open the zip file and extract the images you should select just the drive C:\ and they will unzip into the correct folders. If however some of those images are stored on your main computer in “My Pictures” folder then you will not be able to restore them on your husbands computer unless your “username” on his computer is the same as on your main computer. This is the main reason I do not store my genealogy pictures in the My Pictures folder. I am right clicking on the file and selecting "extract all"... no matter where I have the ZIP file, the extraction generates a Legacy folder with both a Data and a Pictures folder under it. Shouldn't it just put the files into the Data and Pictures folders that already exist in the Legacy folder? I'm sure I'm missing something very basic. I restored the family file into \Legacy\Data............... right?
