I agree with you in general, but I used this book as a (kind of) index to the various Norwegian census records. Then I combine/transcribe the census with the book and also the films of BMD. Since most (if not all) records support/verify each other I get a reliable database. I actually now have the similar books (photocopied)for about ten parishes. These books are basicly the 'skeleton' to hang my BMD facts onto. Rich in LA CA
