James,

I am unsure as to what you are saying here
"
Perhaps you are struggling with another extremely unfortunate feature
Legacy. Any source or event, every place that they are attached,
result in a separate copy. As such, say you've pasted the same source
4 or 5 times (as this looks like has been done), then you decide that
you really need to update that for some reason, you must update each
one separately. (There is a find and replace feature, but I don't
think that will help in the case of missing photos).
"

You are correct that search and replace will not find pictures, but it is
the first part which which I have a problem. Legacy does not attach multiple
copies of a picture to everything to which it is attached, in fact it stores
the path, and if you correct for one missing link for a particular picture
by clicking on the question mark indicating that it is missing, it will
renew the link for them all.

Event Picture: Census: <<Name Here>>
Means that for the named person, they have an associated "Census"
event, and that event had a picture linked to it that cannot be found
anymore.
So,for...
- Calogera SEMINATORE [5]
- Nunzia CARIOTA [42]
- Giuseppe VINCIGUERRA [50]
- Catena CARIOTA [43]
They all have a Census event (***not a source citation***) that can't
find a photo in this location with this name:
   C:\Legacy\Pictures\USA\Ohio- Cuyahoga County - Cleveland\Cariota,
Calogero 1920 U.S. Census.jpg

Perhaps you moved it, or renamed it?

This one is saying that the image can't be found on the Source Detail
for the Souce attached to the Alternate Name.
Picture (Mary Cariota): Alternate Name: Source Detail: Calogera SEMINATORE
[5]
   C:\Legacy\Pictures\USA\Ohio- Cuyahoga County\Cleveland\Cariota,
Calogero - 1920 US Census.jpg
