As I research on Ancestry, I consistently receive a number (44779911, for example) instead of the name of a city/town/village. I do not get this result on every entry (or I would have given up months ago), but I do get them on too many entries. This makes ascertaining who is from where a mite difficult.
Anyone encountered this? I email tech support last month and rather got the impression the techie didn't believe me. I am running Windows 7, Internet Explorer 9.0.81, on a Dell. Suggestions? Thanks.
