Betty,

No problem, and please feel free to resurrect the subject when you really need
to get it sorted.

You are correct that you will be unable to print doc files in the reports, so
if the aim is to produce a printed version of his tree your decision not to
save the docs is valid. You may I have gathered that I do attach all my
documents to sources so that I have easy access to them should I wish to check
something in the history of a person, as happens on most days. In any event it
is a breach of crown copyright to publish images of things like UK censuses,
and companies own the copyrights to their index images etc.

Subject: Re: [LegacyUG] How to Clear the Clipboard THE END temporarily

Ladies and Gentlemen, I appreciate your help, but I need to do some genealogy
instead of playing with Legacy. I started using Legacy for a man who is 87 in
KS and said his family was all on notes and pcs of paper and that he is running
out of time. So I agreed to type it for him... thinking that I would learn
Legacy on his family then bring over my 10K plus files...I thought I was just
doing his family, but we now have more than 1,000 and I want to wrap it up so I
can work on my families. I see that Files can't be printed in reports and he
doesn't use a computer so this 'project' would not help him.
Thanks again, I'll keep watching your helpful hints and 'I'll be back...'
