For a moment, ignore Tree Finder. Each individual or group in Tree
Finder shows the individual with the lowest RIN for that group. The
"count" shows the number of individuals in each tree.
Go to the Name List. Clickon the # field to sort by RINs. Look at the
number at the top border in the title bar for the window ("Name list
contains.... Individuals" and the final RIN in the list.
If they're different, you have abandoned RINs and need to renumber
RINs in Legacy. Go to Tools > Renumber RINs if you have the Deluxe
Edition.
If you have Standard Edition, to renumber the RINs, go to File >
Export to... > Legacy File and in the Legacy Export window, select
"Fill all existing abandoned RINs/MRINs" on the right side under
"Record Numbering"
