Robert,

I purchased an Acer netbook in March 2011. It has Win 7 starter along with
MS Office starter. Legacy works just fine and have even been able to
multitask, ie have Legacy, Excel and a browser open. Although I don't have
all my family fines on the netbook, I do have it networked to connect to my
desktop which runs Win XP. I have dropbox and evernote on my netbook,
desktop and smartphone, so I have my basic info when and where ever I need
it.

Hope this helps.

Subject: [LegacyUG] Windows 7 (Starter)

I am being offered a Netbook for a good price. The problem is it has Windows
7 Starter on it. I am leery of that- does anyone have a Netbook with Windows
7 Starter on it, and is running Legacy on it? How well does Legacy run on
it? Several Internet sites said the "Starter" version was really stripped
down, so I want to be certain first. I want to be sure it will accommodate
Legacy, accommodate my photos, etc.

Thank you.

Robert
