In Geoff's Live: Cemetery webinar, he solved the problem of replacing a mismatched image showing up next to an individual's name in the family view. In my case, I had image of a birth document where I would have placed a photo, if I had one. When adding an image to the picture gallery for an individual, the default setting on the right hand side of the screen is individual. By pressing the down arrow next to individual, other choices are visible to view. Note those choices will include topics you have entered as you added to the individual's event/fact field. Select your choice and your image will be placed there. To correct an earlier mistake, it's a matter of cut and paste. Open Picture Gallery for Individual: Note your choice indicates *individual. Place cursor over image and right click. Select cut option. Image goes to a clipboard. Press down arrow next to *individual and select a different option. New gallery will open for that option. Place cursor in box number one and right click and select paste option. Image has moved to desired location. If you add images to any other category besides individual, an * will precede your selection: thus, *individual and *birth or *occupation, etc. will let you know you have photos in more than one gallery for any individual. Thank you Geoff! Super information.
