possible cause If you look at the folder where your Legacy file is stored you will see "your file.fdb" and if it's open also "your file.ldb". if that file exists when you have closed Legacy then Legacy will still think there is another user accessing the database. Making sure you do not have the Legacy file open, delete the ldb file. Alan
