I place an asterisk (*) in the suffix data box of my direct blood line relative. If I have a suffix such as M.D. then I follow the suffix with the asterisk (*). So it would look like John Doe * or John Doe M.D. * This way I can see at a glance whether it be on my computer, laptop, tablet, handheld device and any reports or printouts exactly where my direct line blood line falls. When doing reports, enter a footnote indicating such.
