Malcolm, you are probably talking about when and if Barnes and Noble agrees to officially support some kind of Android specs for the Nook Color. But we just purchased an SD card for my wife's Nook Color not long ago which turned her Nook Color into an Android tablet. We have not tried to put your product on it yet, but I have an Android Archos 101 tablet that I will likely try it on first. -
For Nook Color users, here is the link to the SD card which turns your Nook Color into an Android tablet. My wife's seemed to be a little bit quirky in that you had to touch some of the menu items repeatedly, but once we figured out its quirkiness, it seems to work pretty well. http://www.n2acards.com/ Regards, --Jerry Boor / http://www.MerriamFamilyTree.org On 11/16/2011 10:54 AM, Malcolm Green wrote: > That's more uncertain as, although Barnes and Noble announced a few weeks > back that "In the coming days, developers whose companies are based in > Canada, Australia, the UK, Ireland, Germany and Spain, will have the > opportunity to sell and promote their content and applications to millions of > Barnes& Noble customers in the United States", we've still heard nothing > from them and had no response to emails. > > Malcolm Green > > -----Original Message----- > From: Larry [mailto:[email protected]] > Sent: 16 November 2011 15:30 > To: [email protected] > Subject: RE: [LegacyUG] Families 1.4.0 for iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad and > Android > > Any status on the version for the Nook color? > > > Malcolm Green<[email protected]> wrote: > >> Not yet, but we're submitting the app to the Amazon Appstore for validation. >> >> Malcolm Green >> >> -----Original Message----- >> From: Mary Fowler Leek [mailto:[email protected]] >> Sent: 16 November 2011 14:52 >> To: [email protected] >> Subject: RE: [LegacyUG] Families 1.4.0 for iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad and >> Android >> >> Does the new Android version of Families work on the just released Amazon >> Fire Tablet? >> >> Mary >> >> -----Original Message----- >> From: Malcolm Green [mailto:[email protected]] >> >> >> Families 1.4.0 for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad is now available from the App >> Store.
