Does anyone have any suggestions for printing family books? Specifically, our family would like to put together a book of grandma's poems that she wrote. I plan on doing the layout in Adobe InDesign and generating a PDF. We will probably have old pictures of grandma and other graphics throughout.
I would be looking for a print-on-demand printer since I don't know how many we will be ordering. In fact, I just may have one prototype at the family reunion next year and then have the information where family members can go to order and pay for the book that is shipped directly to them (our family members are spread out worldwide.) We may also consider doing this for a cookbook, and possibly (if I can get my information organized into a coherent form in the next decade) a book about our family history. If you have used a printer that you like, any suggestions would help greatly!
