Ron,
I specifically said US locations.  I know that England is different.
However, I still think all of your England locations should be consistent
with the same number of place markers (however many that is!).  Honestly, I
can't quite figure England and Ireland out :) :)

Ah! The ideal - consistent English etc. place markers, If only! I'm afraid
that over 2000 years of history does not lend itself to that treatment, I
mean with the Romans, Vikings, Germans, French and uncle Tom Cobley an' all
messing around with our place names, counties, wapentakes (under Danelaw),
hundreds, parishes - ecclesiastic, parishes -civil, tythings, counties,
rural districts, urban districts, metropolitan districts, boroughs, county
boroughs, hamlets, towns, cities, and these are just some, just how are we
expected to know where anything is, let alone a non-Brit.

So, our system is rather like our Constitution - we don't have one.
