I can't read minds so I don't know if Millennia had plans beyond the
current version of advanced sourcing. I don't see anything to indicate
that they intended to go further.

Like I said, I have been on this list for 9 years and don't recall ever
seeing a feature request like yours. There have been discussions
regarding the "sharing" of source citations, but this is not the same as
what you are asking for. And "shared" events have also been discussed.

If you can drum up additional support for your feature on this list ...
go for it. But Millennia will not spill the beans on this list regarding
future enhancements. The only way you might be privy to that kind of
info is if you are invited to join the Legacy beta test list.

Of course, there is always the option of commissioning an LTool. ;-)
