Yes this does because the question came up in another thread about the option in Legacy of globally toggling between Baptism and Christening. Many of the users want this toggle to be related to individuals (as the option for buried or cremated) and not globally, as it is now.
Some believe the terms are synonymous - others believe that they're completely different. I, for one, am grateful for the distinction made by a chaplain, which explains the differences. Not everyone believes that there are differences, however, which is fine. They can continue to use their global choice of either baptism or christening. Those who view them as two distinct ceremonies wish to be able to show those who have been christened with a date specifying christening and those who have been baptised with a date showing baptism.
