Thanks Mike, I deleted the NC files but didn't get the bit on the USR files so will try that and see if it helps. I haven't done a dpwnload or an update for some time but then I haven't tried to enter the time line for a while. I wondered if it was because I had started to make up a new Time Line of Diseases and Pestiences in the UK and perhaps I had done something to affect the other time lines!
