I was fairly sure it was legacy7
To be sure, I downloaded it again and received an email which included the
following:
Thank you for requesting a download or update of Legacy Family Tree.
During the Legacy installation, if you are prompted to enter a password, it is:
legacy7
Make sure you enter the password in all lower case letters.
That should work.

Support question: Trying update software.
It's asking me to enter a password. The one I received originally (like, way
back in Legacy 6) doesn't work.
The message says:
"When you entered your email address on our web site and clicked next, a
password was sent to the address you supplied. ..."
I did not enter my email address on your web site and click next - I started
on the Legacy Home page in the program.
Any ideas?
The only thing "different" is that I'm on my secondary PC. Would that make a
difference?
