Brian, I rarely use the Sentence override, as a suggestion, in the box where the example is given, would it not be an idea to have at the end ".[Sources][Notes]", at least this would serve as a reminder?

When defining your own event sentences you do need to include the [sources] field to tell Legacy where to include the source citations in the sentence. If you do not use the [sources] then no sources will be cited in the sentence. All the Legacy defined events already have the [sources] field in the sentence definition so for those events you only have to set the source options in the report setup.
