While thinking of how to store documents that might not have a place in Legacy, but will have a place when I, hopefully, put together a family history (such as the history/customs of the place where they lived) I remembered reading about these two programs that work with word processors. Zotero is a plugin that works with firefox and Word or Open Office. It's a way to cut and paste and save research in one place, from what I understand.
Does anyone use a tool like this for genealogy, or is it overkill? All these extra files could be kept in the same directory/subdirectories where I keep the media I have loaded, or will load into legacy. I hope this isn't too off topic. For me, Legacy is a tool not just to store information in, but hopefully one that will help me when I want to put all the information into an interesting story/history.
