Thanks!  I could not see a reason that would not work but I wasn't sure.  I am 
going to update to .154 and try it for a while.  If I see problems in reports 
or some of the other problems reported earlier then I CAN go back.

user files created with that same version .142.

If I can reinstall .142 then why would I not be able to restore a backup made 
with version .142?  I would not
want to use GEDCOM because it would not handle the source writer sources 
properly.

Would it be possible to export it as a Legacy gedcom, delete .154, install .142 
then import the gedcom?
