Does your use of the word "hyperlink" imply the spreadsheet file lives "in the 
cloud" on an Internet server
somewhere, or locally on the PC that Legacy is running on?  In case of the 
latter, Mike's answer applies.

Clue: A spreadsheet is just a file! Attach it as a file. Then when you
double-click on it, the default program that you've got set up for the type of
file, might activate.
